My husband received a letter for new Medical

Hi all

My husband received a letter from embassy to have a new medical and send report to embassy. It looks like its just a standard letter for new medical they just typed our case number and my husband's name on top. Also it says that your case is still under AP and we don't know when it will end. Has anyone received the same kind of letter? and why they ask for new medical? Are they ready to give him visa? If so, how long does it take to get visa after we send his medical to embassy?

It has been 14 months since my husband had his interview at Isamabad embassy. They put him in AP. On 10/10/12, they called him to submit his siblings information.

hi i received called from embassy for new medical report and new ds230 after 18 months of my interview i submitted those documents last months i didnt hear any thing yet from them

They did not ask for DS230 from my husband. They just mailed a letter saying they need fresh medical to proceed with their processing. I don't know what is the difference. I hope we all get our visas soon. Thanks again.

yes, same here, my husband had to do his medical again, 12 months after interview. same as the first time, he had to pay the fee.
