I got my RFE today and I have until January 10th 2013 to get the information to them.

They are asking for details on my arrests.

I was only taken into custody, told off and then released. How can I provide them with the information they have requested if I've never been to court for these two stupid mistakes?

I have no idea where to start with getting the information.

I have the dates, and the offenses, noted down but are they after more than that?

K1 Process:

  • I-192F: NoA 1 received - March 15, 2011
  • I-192F: NoA 2 received - July 6 - Approved in 113 Days!
  • Packet 3 received - August 1-ish
  • Medical - August 19
  • Packet 3 completed and returned - August 24
  • Packet 3 logged at Embassy - September 21
  • Interview: Oct 26, 2011 - Approved!
  • PoE: Atlanta - November 08
  • Civil Ceremony - December 29

Time : 7 months, 8 days

Adjustment of Status Process:

  • Filing AoS - February 17, 2012
  • NoA 1 received - February 23
  • Case transferred to CSC - March 20
  • Biometrics appointment - March 26
  • Wedding - April 6th
  • RFE October 15th, have until January to send in information.
  • Sent back information - December 5th
  • APPROVED! - December 22nd!

Time : 10 months, 6 days

Total Duration of journey : 1 year, 9 months, 8 days.

They will be looking for documentation, something that tells them why you were arrested etc.

So when they let you go did they give you a bit of paper that said what you were arrested for? Formal warning notice? Did you sign something on your release?

Not sure what the procedure is in the UK

The offences were over a decade ago. Any paperwork I had pertaining to them is long gone.

Am I right in assuming that it is the ACRO SAR1 form from this page?

That looks like it would be your best bet, as it will provide you with all things recorded against your name. Did you not give them a criminal history check when you applied for your K1?

OR

If USCIS is looking for particular details about each incident then I think the option underneath (WA162) will provide them with more information, or you could play it safe get both and sent it all to USCIS so they have more than they need.

I gave them the Acpo report, and when I went for my interview they asked me what the offenses were and the dates. The woman was happy with my reply. I never needed to submit any further evidence. It's only now that they are being super picky.
