Why did it take so long for your case to get to NVC?

few of us who got approved and others who got approved after us, the petitions was mistakenly sent to NRC instead of NVC and we just successfully get it back to NVC am happy

My case has finally made it the NVC. I got my case number and invoice number this morning

what a ridiculously long journey :(

On September 24, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283

Finally after more than 9 months of waiting. We received this Today after my husband got a phone interview last Saturday from USCIS personnel ( amazing they are working on a Saturday). But he will still go to his infopass on Thursday to ask info what to do next once the case is forwarded to NVC. Whats the next step guys? Thanks so much for your advice.

Hi everybody, finally we got case number at NVC yesterday. It took us 26 days to get case number. I hope everybody will get luck . smile.png

wow that's how long to get a case number from NVC? We just received an approval letter from USCIS today so, next step will be the NVC process. Hope and pray it wont take us a long 9 months of waiting.

Congratulations QueenieJ601, i am really very happy for you and here you go .. NVC stage. I am still at the NVC stage and i hope before October ending, everything will be moving to an end by the grace of God. the petition took 3 months for me and few others to get to NVC. but some are lucky and theirs took 6 days, some 1 months and some 2 months. so it depends and yours may be fast. don't worry, everything will be fine.
