@ Bismark. Yes I did go to the window and get a number. They gave me number B25. When I sat down they started at number B26 and they went basically in order from that point on. After an hour. I got up to ask the lady at the desk if they were going to call me, I also reminded her that I wanted to find out some information about my petition. She just told me to have a seat. I waited all day from nine am in the morning they went all the way up to B103 and then they stopped calling numbers. A part of me wanted to get up and say something else, but I also wondered if my anger would backlash and effect the further processing of our petition. I just got up and left. The liaison in congressman Hank Johnson's office has been excellent. Her name is Sasha. She was very prompt when I sent them my privacy release. She also makes sure she calls me when she has any updated information. I will keep you posted.

I am happy that your congressman’s office has been very helpful, and I think that is your best option now.

Also, once your case gets to NVC and you receive your DOS case number, you can work with your congressman's office to request for expedite processing. The way it works is that once you receive your case number, your congressman's office will make the expedite request to NVC on the ground that stupid Atlanta USCIS office messed up in sending your file to NVC, and you have been delayed for over three months, which is not your fault. I heard this before and it worked pretty well for some people. Once NVC receive the request, they will forward it to the embassy for approval. Once approved, NVC will send your file directly to the embassy so that the embassy can schedule your case for interview. This will save you about 3 months that you would have been going through the NVC process.

Good luck!!!

Strange that they transferred you so late. But then again nothing really surprises me anymore with the uscic. Hang in there. And yes prayers is a must when dealing with the uscis.

Be sure to post about your info pass. I like to see how atl handles each case

This is what USCIS stated in the letter....ON 09/06/2013, A DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE CONTACTED US CONCERNING YOUR 1-130 TO NOTIFY US THAT YOU BELIEVE YOUR CASE IS OUTSIDE OF OUR NORMAL PROCESSING TIME. BELOW IS A SUMMARY OF WHAT WE FOUND AND HOW THE ISSUE HAS BEEN OR MAY BE RESOLVED.

THE ATLANTA DISTRICT OFFICE DOES HAVE RECORD OF YOUR CASE. OUR RECORD INDICATE THAT YOUR CASE IS CURRENTLY PENDING AN INTERVIEW OR A MANUAL DECISION. TO DATE YOUR CASE IS CURRENTLY PENDING ADJUDICATION.

WE REGRET THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A COMPLETION DATE FOR YOUR 1-130. IF YOUR CASE REQUIRES AN INTERVIEW, NOTIFICATION WILL BE SENT TO THE ADDRESS OF RECORD. IF YOUR CASE DOES NOT REQUIRE AN INTERVIEW YOU WILL RECEIVE NOTIFICATION FROM THE SERVICE CENTER BASED ON A DECISION ( APPROVED / DENIED ) IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE SERVICE WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS DELAY MAY HAVE CAUSED.
