Had another infopass today, since I was told to check back in 90 days in my last one, in Feb. No concrete info, the person I spoke to did not seem to have a good idea of how long it will take for my case to be processed at all. I insisted a lot on getting some estimate of how long it might take but it was no use, reply was cxases will be processed in the order we got them, processing started in april and there are more than 5000 cases to process. I am going to get another infopass for the end of June.

I have written to my senators and congressmen and so far just received the auto response emails from them that my inquiry has been received and I will hear back from them later.

@Bismark @Abeyzo

have you call NVC to know if they have received your petition ? because i don't know when i should start calling

Start calling 1 month after your approval. My case was received by the NVC 1 month and a half after approval and still yet no case number. Be patient...Atlanta seems to be sending approvals in chunks monthly and thats when the NVC receives. Im gonna try and call again today and see if I have a case number yet or not. I doubt it though.

I would call, say twice a week becase you never know when Atlanta will send your file to NVC. For example, Abezyo was approved on 4/6, and i was approved on 5/10 but i was so lucky that 5/10 was the date Atlanta sent the approved batch to NVC which include all cases from April to that date so both of our cases got to NVC at the same time.

I will make up my mind that it could take up to six weeks so that i dont stress about it, but will call NVC twice a week to check, just in incase.

Hope this helps.

Hi! Joining in....

Hubby has an info pass in last tuesday and only from there we learned that our case had been transferred to Atlanta. There was no notice of any transfer, every time he calls USCIS they just say that our case is still at NBC. Been waiting for 9 months since our NOA1.
