Just a real quick update :)

I have typed out the letters I will send to both the director and the field office director. I will try and clean up the inquiry tomorrow at work see what I can do. If not I will go ahead and mail these letters to both of them.

Any update for you guys?

08/13/2012: I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox from Jordan (Nahda Office)

08/21/2012: NOA1

8/21/2012 : NOA1 Hardcopy

8/28/2012 : 1-797C Action Transferred to NBC (Assuming sent to Atlanta Local office...but no telling)

O9/4/2012 : Last touched.

2/26/2013 : Infopass with Atlanta (confirmed file is there and no action yet. To be started in March)

03/18/2013 : 2nd Infopass (No review or processing of any stand-alone I-130s for 60-90 days. URGHHHHHHHHHH)

04/6/2013: NOA2 (228 days from NOA1)

NVC

05/10/13 USCIS Atlanta letter to me confirms this date as sent to NVC

05/20/13 NVC Received Case (Waiting on case number)
06/7/2013 NVC case number assinged
06/7/2013 Choice of agent complete now awaiting fees

Gave up tracking when I left overseas...but we are almost done biggrin.png!

Yep, the more I think about it, the more I believe he must have got that date by plugging in my receipt number (EAC # -> VSC processing date). The only way to try to understand Atlanta's true proce

Changed my address to my new place in Columbus today. I am going to call tomorrow and talk to an ISO to confirm the address change and insist that my file be transferred from ATL immediately. I will then ask to have my file placed at the top of the Columbus pile as I have already been waiting much longer than most all the Columbus cases have taken to process. (columbus seems to be taking about 2.5-3 months for approval). I hope I can convince the ISO to transfer my file immediately.

2013 began CR1 process

Starting the process over again for our daughter (IR2):

1/13/16 NOA1 from Potomac Service Center

4/5/16 NOA2!

4/7/16 Case sent to NVC

I don't know the policy for transferring to another office as the local offices just started processing files August 15 so I'd imagine they are making rules up along the way. :) But, I have moved to Columbus so I want my petition and all paperwork to come to process through Columbus, as there is no way I could go for an appt, infopass, or who knows, even an interview in ATL, as I no longer live in Alabama. So, if they fight me on transferring my petition to Columbus, I will fight back. My petition has been sitting collecting dust in ATL and people who filed at the same time as me that were sent to Columbus are already through NVC and awaiting interviews. So, yes, Columbus processes faster. They have around 400 pending petitions. ATL has almost 5,000 pending and have admitted they aren't working on any since the local office transfers. So, I will keep you all updated after I call tomorrow.

I tried to upload a cleaner copy, but apparently I have already used up most of my 1000K global upload quota with the earlier dirty one, lol!

Letter rcvd later by snail mail from NBC, Lee's Summit, MO; however, I know file was adjudicated in Atlanta.

19JUL2013 called and got Case # and IIN #, gave email addresses

22JUL2013 received DS-3032 and AOS invoice by email, mailed DS-3032

I just read all the posts and its crazy that we have wasted all this time waiting for nothing at this rate we would have received a quicker approval from CSC. This is ridiculous. I also will be writing to whoever I need to to get Atlanta moving.

Oh yeah it is crazy! I just dropped my letters off to both Mrs. Frazier and Mr. Onyango. Hopefully we hear something and this works!!

It would be interesting to see how many of the District 8 people have been adjudicated.

Since my file is being sat on in SC as well.

Maybe it’s a District-wide protest for being sent the I-130s?

Ive wrote both Paul and Denise and my Senator whos replied back to me and making an inquiry into the status of my case and what can be done. So hopefully ill hear some good news. I attached an inquiry into both the letters to paul and denise so we shall see :)
