Hi, for some reason when you buy a one way ticket to leave Europe, it is for some reason more expensive. I got a one way ticket from the States to Italy and it was cheaper than the round trip. I'm gonna eventually have my interview for the spouse visa in Naples, may I ask you more info about your interview? I am getting so nervous since I don't know if the proof I'm gonna show to the interview, is enough to show that my relationship with my husband is true!

By the way congratulation!!!

Giovanna, they didn't even look at the evidence I brought at the interview! They just asked a few questions. They check on some evidence you sent with the petition (they browse it quickly before they call you to be interviewed). I actually wrote a review about my interview in Naples! click hereand scroll down my timeline, you'll find my review.

Good luck!!! :)

YAY! Received my passport with the visa today! So happy! Checking on the flights now. So, since for some weird reason the one-way flights from Europe to the States are freaking expensive, I got advised to get a round trip-flight and then just cancel the return flight. Are there fees/penalties usually ?

Fees would depend on the airline. Be sure to read the terms & conditions before purchasing the flight. Regardless, cancel the return flight so you can't be accused of leaving the country, especially if the return is before you have AP or your green card.

So, I'm back on this topic...I leave for the States in 2 days and I just called the airline asking about cancel the return flight, but they say they can't cancel it? They can change the date but not cancel. The guy told me I could just not show up, but I wouldn't want to get accused of leaving the country, how LeftCoastLady said... I don'tknow what to do!

You cancel the return flight after you have used the first flight (to the U.S.). You can just not show up, but later on in your process authorities may think that you actually took the flight back to Italy again and abandoned your K1 before adjusting status. So you need to cancel the booking after you arrive in the US.

Have a good trip and congratulations on your visa!
