Sound familiar! :lol::lol::lol:

masochism, the pleasure or gratification of having pain or suffering inflicted upon the self, often consisting of fantasies or urges for being beaten, humiliated, bound, tortured, or otherwise made to suffer.

erekose, you and millions of other americans are gonna be quite depressed in about 2 years when bush leaves office, i suggest you beat the rush and schedule your sessions with the shrink now to help combat that future depression :whistle:

Oh, I don't know...I don't think most Americans have any great love or hate for the current administration. In fact, I've venture to say that the vast majority of America probably is somewhere in the middle when it comes to the Bush Administration's policies.

I know I am. I won't sit here and pretend to love Bush, but I don't hate him either. Considering each situation he and his administration has faced, they've done a pretty good job, overall. Does that mean they've done everything perfectly or that there's no room for improvement? Not at all. It just means things aren't nearly as bad as some of the doomsayers make it out to be today.

We'll never had a president everyone likes, no matter how popular or unpopular he is -- regardless of what the reason(s) may be. The fact of the matter is, most people are self-centered. They want a president (and other policy makers in Washington, D.C.) who'll create and enforce laws that they like, and damn everyone else. This is where a great deal of the problem comes into the picture. What's good for the country may not necessarily be good for every person on an individual basis. So there are a lot of tough decisions to make, attempting to balance out personal freedoms with nationwide security.

I know I'd never want to be president. That's a job you couldn't pay me to take. It's just far too much stress for far too little in return. Maybe that's a selfish way of looking at the position, but that's how I feel. I wouldn't necessarily mind being a senator though. Oh well. That's something to think about and it'd be in the far future anyway.

Bush isn't Superman or Captain America. The Hulk would be a better analogy there.

"Iran!? ME NOT LIKE! HULK SMASH!" :lol:

Not really. Though I admit I have been saving the Champagne.
