I understand your position , but I still maintain that if Ellen were fixed accordingly and she was in a Video with her super hot GF, that you would watch and you would not think ewww gay. That is the only case I am trying to make, as to why Ellen may be so liked and accepted and Anderson Cooper might not be. Her supper hot GF would add enough to the scene to make up for Ellen.

In Anderson's case I think it will turn most Men off from watching, and I think most Women want their Gay friends helping them buy dresses and and making snippy comments about the fashion of their friends they don't like. Not in a leadership, give me the news kind of way.

P.S. before you LWNJ's start I fully support Gay rights. I am just offering a opinion as to why Anderson may have more trouble in the media being Gay than Ellen. However twisted and convoluted that opinion may be, if you are a guy's guy you will understand it .

We all know actors who expose their homosexuality often are limited in roles they get, is it not possible he lost some "appeal" when he skipped out of the closet?

Often times these shows live or die over a few points in the ratings.

If he were doing a decorating show it might enhance his presumed knowledge on the topics but a number of people might in a Freudian kinda way finding him holding a microphone close to his mouth... too image rich.

Mark my words.... he comes back as a talk show host, these folks do well in that field.... something about relating to that 25-50 female demographic.

The article and cancellation of the show do not connect with the Anderson Cooper comes out of the closet per your silly thread title. The two facts are in fact totally unrelated:
