Hi Expert

I have I-140 approved and I-485 filed under EB3; Currently pending priority date to be current. I'm going to filed I-485 (derivative) application for my wife as soon as my PD is current.

My wife is currently on H-4 visa, have a question on the I-485 FORM.

For my spouse application, I should check option a, correct?

Part 2 Application Type (Check One)

a. An immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number

that has been approved. (Attach a copy of the approval notice, or a relative, special

immigrant juvenile, or special immigrant military visa petition files with this

application that will give you an immediately available visa number, if approved.)

b. My spouse of parent applied for adjustment of status or was granted lawful

permanent residence in an immigrant visa category that allows derivative status

for spouse and children.

Appreciated for your input.
