Our journey:

Spoiler

September 2007: Met online via social networking site (MySpace); began exchanging messages.
March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

is april 21 2012 in the immigration timelines of vj is reliable? i dont have doubts but hope it is cause im sick and tired of this waiting thing...

I am a May filer. My NOA1 is May 11. By November, I think VSC will be approving May filers. Don't be sick and tired. Instead just be positive and relax coz our time will come soon. Patience is a virtue. Just pray and have faith in God. Everything is in God's hands.- sweetie:)

Since this is 30 Oct and we enter the 6th month now, I expect an approval this week.

Noticed some movement in MAY already, and hope the storm has not delayed the VSC.

Just hoping and praying, it has been a long year.

It was 6 months and one week when we received our NOA2 from Vermont. They are not moving as fast as we would like but at least they are moving.

K1 Visa Timeline:

03/21/2012 Met in person

03/23/2012 Engaged

04/09/2012 I-129F mailed

04/13/2012 I-129F Received at TSC, forwarded to VSC

04/13/2012 NOA1 Date

04/13/2012 Check Cashed

04/19/2012 Received NOA1 letter

10/18/2012 NOA2-No RFE

10/23/2012 Received MNL case number from NVC

10/24/2012 Paid visa fee and scheduled interview

11/08/2012 Medical Completed

11/09/2012 CFO seminar and interview completed

11/19/2012 Interview USEM- VISA APPROVED

11/26/2012 Passport (and visa) in transit from post

11/27/2012 Visa Packet delivered/Air booked-business class all the way!!

12/05/2012 flew to Manila-CFO sticker-USA Bound

12/06/2012 Arrived USA-POE Washington DC!!!!!!!!!

12/12/2012 Wedding

03/09/2012 Sent first I-129F while deployed at Korea.. He only sent the form so we have to send it again.. lol

04/24/2012 Send second I-129F

05/01/2012 USCIS acceptance date routed to VSC

05/12/2012 NOA1

10/25/2012 NOA2

CR1 JOURNEY

09/26/2012 3rd visit

10/09/2012 Wedding

10/20/2012 I-130 Sent to Chicago Lockbox via UPS

10/22/2012 Filing Date

10/25/2012 confirmation email and text ( MSC )

10/26/2012 expedite request

10/31/2012 NOA1 hard copy

11/02/2012 NOA2 yay !!!!

11/05/2012 Case sent to NVC

11/13/2012 Case number/IIN assigned

11/16/2012 AOS fee bill and DS3032 ready

11/19/2012 AOS paid

11/20/2012 AOS shows paid/DS3032 sent

11/30/2012 AOS package sent( delayed coz of hubby's itrs grrrr...)

12/01/2012 DS3032 accepted

12/02/2012 IV fee bill ready

12/05/2012 IV bill shows paid

12/06/2012 IV packet sent

12/20/2012 case complete

01/15/2013 interview date scheduled (feb. 6, 2013)

01/22/2013 1st day of medical exam

01/23/2013 passed the medical exam !!!!

02/06/2013 VISA APPROVED !!!!

02/09/2013 Visa on hand

02/17/2013 POE Washington Dulles

02/19/2013 Immigrant Fee Payment (165$)

Your I-130 was approved in 2 days from your NOA1 date.

i am may 22nd filers... u are a day ahead from us.. month of november is for us.. may filers...

I got the same NOA2 date too. I see some early may approvals. I am hoping the rest will follow!! Gotta stay positive and keep praying...

Hi fellow VJ members who are waiting here, I know and I was in your shoes too when me and my fiancee got frustrated coz been way behind for VSC, we filed April 11 and we just got approved lst oct. 4 and PRAISE GOD, so hang in there may filers Nov. is for sure will be ur turn coz early May had approved.CSC is too fast...and congrats for those way ahead..Let's all keep our faith, patience and love..we all can make it..
