Hi friends,

First of all thank you all very much for your good wishes and prayers it really helped and all the info you all gave me cause i dont know how i would have made it without you guys.

now the interview:

Ok so my interview was scheduled for 11am today morning but i was there by 10:20am for safe side.

there was just one guy in the consuler section who was being interviewed when we came and the CO was agruing with that guy over something.

i got so nervous seeing that cause i knew that was the one who will take our interview also and she was in a bad mood.

i was called by an indian CO first and he asked me and my wife to be together and took all my original certificates like police, birth cert, photos ect.and just asked me when we got married thats all and he asked us to wait till he enters all the stuff in the system.

after 15 minutes i was called by the american lady and she was very friendly with me (thank god) she asked me when i was married and if i was applying for cr1 or ir1.

i had to take an oath that i was telling the truth raising my right hand,

she took my index fingerprints,

she asked how did i meet my wife and she asked me to call my wife in too .

she asked her which state was she from what did she do for a living,

what do her parents think of me and same thing to me too,

she asked me where do i work and what will i do once im in the usa,

she asked my wife why didnt she plan on staying with me in oman ,

she asked how i used to be in touch with my wife,i took out a pile of mails from both sides she just saw it didnt even read them .

she didnt see the letters, cards, tell bills, not even one pic .

she said congratulations ur approved and you can collect ur visa in a week.

but my wife requested them to give the visa asap since she is leaving to the usa in 6 days and she wanted me to accompany her to the usa the nice lady checked the computer and said today is ur lucky day there are no name hits and we can give you a visa today and you can collect your passport tomorrow.

we also got a call from the embassy in 2 hours that the visa is ready and you can collect it at 10am tomorrow.

this was my experiance hope it helps,

best regards

bombay.

That is wonderful news, I am so happy for you 2.
