original documnts Need help

hi everyone me and my other 2 siblings are scheduled to be interviewed this coming nov.2,2012 ..i have question ...do i really have to have an original documnts like affidavit of support ,tax income ,marriage certificate(mother an peitioner),birth certifiate(petioner),naturalization(petitioner),divorce(real mom and real dad) ...because my mom only scan those original documnts and all we have to do is print so is that okay??? i hope for the best ...thank tou and God bless ... thinking positive :)

If they asked you for original documents, then they want original, NOT copies. If they said copies, then you are good to go.

wouldn't she have sent those in already to have the case completed? If she sent them in already you do not have to take them with you. Some people take copies and originals as a back up.

You should bring whatever they asked for on the interview letter.

Petitioner LPR upgraded to USC June 22, 2012
August 22, 2012: case complete
October 18, 2012: Interview (APPROVED)
October 26, 2012: Picked up visa from DHL (delay caused by Sandy)
December 15, 2012: POE Atlanta....................became USC July 2016!!!!

Mothers' Journey (My sister is the petitioner)

September 10, 2013: Sent I-130 (UPS next day service)

September 12, 2013: Received text to confirm delivery

September 16, 2013: Received NOA 1

March 22, 2014: Received NOA 2

April 8, 2014: File Received by NVC

May 26, 2015: Interview (approved)..........now LPR (delays caused by 2 RFE)
