Fist of all I want to congratulate you, now wait one week and call NVC and get the case number from there you can proceed . But for now you should apply for police certificate it's about Ksh. 1500. Medical is about 18000-24000ksh depending on vaccination recommended by doctors, tho visa fee is about $:240. And you will be set so I think around $1000 will be enough. Good luck let me know if you have any problem am on the same process my fiancée if from kenya and she has appointment next week, I will update everything here

Thanks

Hello

What vaccinations are required for the Nairobi Embassy? My finance does not have records of any. Should we get an antibody titer to see what they are immune to first?

Ok, my question is this....my fiance has a 6 year old son. Does he need a passport???

And where does my fiance get her police record?

Yes he needs a passport to travel.

She can go to CID Headquarters on Kiambu Road to get her police certificate. She will need to have Ksh. 1,000/= not sure if they have increased the application fee) and a copy of her Kenyan ID to be able to apply.

Goodluck.

yes, like nyosh said, your son definitely needs a passport to travel. the passport control office in kenya doesn't allow us to add minors to their parents' passports anymore.it should take roughly three weeks to get it.

and for the police certificate, kiambu road. it is exactly one thousand shillings, and she needs her kenyan id to apply. it will take two weeks to get the certificate.

all the best.(hoping you have the birth certificates ready.)
