06/11/2012:NOA1 Notification Email with receipt number (sent to CSC)

MrsOyetunji, Can you send me the link or the names of the people who were recently approved from the Atlanta office? I would love to read.that info as we are both in the same boat waiting at the Atlanta office. Thanks!

Yes, please, who was approved out of the Atlanta field office? My case file should be on top of the pile of transfers, and I have not even had a "touch". :(

USCIS: 307 days from NOA1 to NOA2 (no RFE's)

13AUG2012 I-130 sent by FedEx to Chicago
15AUG2012 I-130 packet delivered to mailroom, per FedEx.com
18AUG2012 NOA1, rcvd SMS & email saying case is routed to Vermont Service Center, later rcvd by snail mail
21AUG2012 the date on next I-797C received only by snail mail, says petition transferred to Lee's Summit,MO
28AUG2012 "touch" (website shows case was updated)
03OCT2012 the date casefile was sent to Atlanta, per phone call with ISO
01FEB2013 infopass at Atlanta, casefile has not even been assigned to anyone yet!

21JUN2013 NOA2, email received! USCIS website is updated! No SMS was received.

Letter rcvd later by snail mail from NBC, Lee's Summit, MO; however, I know file was adjudicated in Atlanta.

NVC:

11JUL2013 the date NVC says they received our file

19JUL2013 called and got Case # and IIN #, gave email addresses

22JUL2013 received DS-3032 and AOS invoice by email, mailed DS-3032

ah, ok - you got in that 'OTHER' transfer queue.

Thanks for responding ! Those of us that filed after 15 Aug 2012 are still trying to figure out what's what at NBC with these case transfers.

I mean, I know what's listed in a web page, but the hidden workings and underlying mechanisms - with absolutely NO feedback or trace-ability, is driving many of us (myself included) nuts.

Yer transfer was different from the norm, as you got to VSC for a moment, given a EAC casefile receipt number. Most of us have that silly MSC receipt number.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks :)...yes my case was transferred in Sept 14 to NBC and then my local field office in Sept 24. So you will get yours soon :)

And then the NOA2 about a month after that!? Internet high five! You must be beside yourself with happiness!! :dance:

Wow, you got lucky! Some of us have been waiting for 5-7 months from the Vermont Service Center, I wonder if your application was processed in another place. Whatever the reason, congratulations!

Congrats again. You filed after August 15 when all the files started getting sent to the local field office so that is why yours went to Columbus because it was the closest to where you live. Just trying to clear things up for people who may be confused. So happy for you. Let's hope the rest of us who got transferred hear something soon!

IN TWO WEEKS YOU WILL GET A CASE NUMBER & CHOICE OF AGENT FORM TO SIGN BY BENIFICARY AND RETURN TO NVC. YOU CAN FIND THAT FORM ONLINE, HAVE YOUR SPOUSE SIGN IT AND SENT IT BACK TO YOU.

NEXT STEP IS PAY I-864 FEE AND DOWNLOAD THAT FORM AND COMPLETE IT AND SEND IT BACK TO NVC

AFTER THAT YOU WILL DOWNLOAD DS-230 AND COMPLETE IT AND SEND IT BACK AFTER YOU HAVE PAID ITS FEE

ALOG WITH DS-230 YOU WILL SEND ALL CIVIL DOCUMENTS ORIGINALS AND PHOTOCOPY.

NVC IS PRETTY FAST, SO FROM NOW ON ITS ALL UPTO YOU, THE FASTER YOU RESPOND THEY SOONER YOU WILL GET THE INTERVIEW DATE
