Congrats again. You filed after August 15 when all the files started getting sent to the local field office so that is why yours went to Columbus because it was the closest to where you live. Just trying to clear things up for people who may be confused. So happy for you. Let's hope the rest of us who got transferred hear something soon!

Congrats to those who were processed so quickly; however, that seems to be the exception right now. So those filed prior to August 15th are still in process at Vermont? Seems unfair but we are patiently waiting. I received NOA1 July 12th and we are still waiting at Vermont Service Center for our NOA2. I know there are May and June filers still waiting as well so an excruciatingly difficult process for everyone.

@ Jessie&Tito , you are right. those that filed their petition before 15 August have their Petition in Vermont so they will have to wait. but we who filed after the said date, ours was transferred to NBC and then to local office, and many have received their NOA 2 within the range of 50 days even many below it.though this depend on each local office, as the Atlanta office which i fall under, the last one i saw was 68 days and the person got her NOA2 from this office. mine is 43 days now and i hope in a month time, i will have my NOA 2 by God grace. stay there Jessie, your NOA 2 will come very soon and continue praying

That's awesome! I'm jealous!! lol.

Almost 5 months and I'm still waiting....

I'm not a special case, though. I know plenty of others have been waiting longer.

Good news for you, though!! :) Hope the rest of your journey is JUST as smooth!!

Thank you for the information. Truly needles in haystacks here, but we have nothing to hide and I don't see many petitions for fiance with someone based in the Bahamas so I am hoping things move quickly once out of USCIS. Good luck to everyone.
