Advance Parole after i 485

So i have my EAD and my i 485 is still pending. I didn't apply for advance parole concurrently because I didn't think i would need it. My choice, though in hindsight, i probably should have gotten it. So please no comments about that.

Any positive advice about what I need to do or say when applying for it now? Do i need to give an explanation? I am aware I don't have to pay a fee, just provide a copy of my NOA for i 485.

Anyone that has done this, that could give me some advice would be aweeeeeeeeeeeesommmmmme! :)

No explanation needed. Just apply for it, like you said with a copy of the NOA1, and you should be right. Bear in mind it might take some time to come but it doesn't hurt to apply!

We applied for ours after our EAD, cover letter just stated didn't think we needed it but want to do XYZ take a cruise, visit Canada etc. You will have one plastic card other on paper.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Yes, you can apply for the AP (i131). I know the case of somebody that applied after he had applied for the EAD and AOS and no additional fee was required. Just send a copy of your NOA1 of AOS and complete the form for the i131. You should be fine. :thumbs:
