Hi,

Thanks for sharing your info.

When you called the embassy, did you just ask for a code so that you could email them? Or were you more specific?

I sent my packet 3 on 29th of october too, but only had my medical last monday so im hoping to hear something this week.

I called them embassy as soon as I got my letter and they just gave me the email address. They said since it was an immigrant visa that I didn't need a code (I asked on the phone). It took a week and a day after my medical for them to 'process' the results (that was last Tuesday) and I got the letter on Saturday with the interview time and date and that's when I called the embassy. I had to call to see if they had processed the medical and my packet 3. When I called they said it would be 2-3 'til I got the appointment letter, but we had contacted my fiance's senator, so don't know if that helped speed the process up.

Hope this has helped you. I just feel so lucky and thankful that they have been so cooperative with us and understanding./

Realised I didn't really answer the question, sorry. I just explained to the guy that I had an appointment date after our wedding and he gave me the email address, didn't ask for my name or case number or anything. Then I asked if I needed a code and he said no.

NOA1 date: 03/01/12

NOA2 date: 10/02/12

Packet 3 received: 10/24/12

Packet 3 sent: 10/29/12

Medical: 11/06/12

Packet 4 received: 11/17/12

Email received with interview change: 11/19/12

YAY!! We e-mailed the embassy again on the 19th and told them that we set our wedding date for December 11th and were wondering if there would be any chance that we could get a sooner date and they sent us a new interview date!! November 28th!! A week form today!! Then we gotta get a plane ticket really quick so he'll make the wedding date :D I'm so excited though! Thank you everyone for your support :D

Just went back and read my last post, it looks like I forgot to post that we got an interview date for December 13th and that was great but by the time we got it we had moved our wedding date to the 11th of December so we were happy but bummed still and decided to e-mail them again :P
