I'm sorry to. This is how it was at VSC. We who filed the first half of March had to watch as those who filed the last half got their NoA2s a month ahead. Fingers crossed for you!

If we don't hear something this week I am going to really lose my mind!!!

It will be a year since we sent our 129 on the 14th of November.

Joe is going to call the embassy tomorrow and see what going on.

I hope we hear good news!!

I will let you all know....

Joe called the embassy this morning hoping to give someone our sob story.

They told us we should hear in 2-3 weeks, maybe sooner.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I think i need to be prescribe a sedative for the next few weeks:)

Anyone else with news?

Oh dear Molly but that may turn out to not be the case. The person on the phone was probably only giving you a guesstimate and I wouldn't be at all surprised if you hear sooner than that. Keep strong because it WILL happen.

Thanks you guys for the lovely messages!!

I e-mailed the embassy that night to see if we could get any cancelations but of course it was deleted because I didn't realize they had to give you a code for the subject line, so I told Paul to call the embassy and he did the next day (because he was sleeping lol) so he called and the person he talked to gave him a code and he e-mailed them and after 2 days of waiting (as it said 2-4 days) they wrote us and said they didn't get our DS-2001 OR cover letter!! :o We sent it over a month ago! And he had it so the people receiving it would have to sign for it. AND when I called DOS the other day they said that we were just waiting for an interview date not that they didn't have our DS-2001 etc. Luckily though, they said we could scan it and e-mail it to them. I wish they would have told us when Paul or I called, maybe they lost it afterwords? I am happy however because maybe they'll be like oh lovely good now we got it heres a date (just fingers crossed now that its for november and in time to make our wedding date!)

Fingers crossed as always! lol

Louise I hope they get back to you ASAP!!

Joe called on Tuesday and tried to get a code to see if we can get this ball rolling any faster but they said we just have to wait. Our excuse is just how obscenely long we have been waiting in general!! Although I was not hopeful because I suppose the folks at the US embassy don't really care.

So anyway I am waiting with much anxiety about an interview date as well.

I really hope they get back to you soon.

I look forward to hearing good news for both of us:)

I need to stop looking at other peoples' timelines because it is giving me anxiety and rage!!!

I say that with humor :)

As I am working the night shift I have too much time on my hands to troll the VJ website.

Holy Sh*t. If Joe and I don't get packet 4 soon I might have a full blown mental breakdown

Sorry for the random outburst!!!

I feel better already

Been following this forum even though I haven't posted on here yet. Just thought I'd let you all know that we contacted my fiancé's senator and they contacted the London Embassy and from the day of them 'processing' our medical results we waited 3 days for the letter to come through and be allocated an interview date. It's really worth a try if anyone else is about to have their medical or are waiting for their interview date. I'm not sure if it was luck or if because the senator got in touch that made the difference but I guess anything can help. Unfortunately, the interview has been set for January 7th, 2 days after our wedding date (despite sending proof of wedding bookings and 15 friends and family flight confirmations), but we have emailed to ask if there is any chance it can be changed, although I doubt that will be able to happen. This is a long process and I can't wait to get to America and marry my fiancé :) The end is in sight.
