It's odd that people here wouldn't be excited for a Romney win, but they would be excited to see the reaction here.

If I was excited about either candidate it would be different. There are a lot of people living in fantasy-land.. always interesting to see what happens when Trolley doesn't come around the corner with good news from King Friday.

What beef? The poll reflects what polling has reflected for some time now - Obama is poised to win re-election. I have no beef with that.

They won't raise taxes. They will starve the government further until the the whole ship sinks. They will destroy America while claiming to save it. They're idiots.

Sure. And Obama will give us free medical care and help the poor ...by making more of them so they have company.

Romney would no way "starve the government" He has no intent to reduce the number of people working under him or the amount of money he has to spend. He will increase spending and not change a thing except what gets purchased with the credit card.

At the end of 4 years there will be less poor people (because he will not finance them and they will have to get jobs) and more Navy ships. The national debt will be 20% higher and they will tell us that IF Obama had won it would be 50% higher! Oh, hurray for our team!

It also means Obama doesn't get a mandate, if he loses the popular vote. That will give the right a huge club to beat him over the head with.

You don't need a mandate if your party controls both Houses of Congress, as Obama had for a couple years. Americans just didn't like the result, as Clinton found out in 1994, Bush found out in 2006, and Obama found out in 2010.
