Rebuttal? It is a full time job to fact check your cut-and-paste articles.. I treat you with ten times the respect you give to the people you work so hard on deamonizing every single day. I do not put up negative posts about Obama himself, I do not call him names, I do not try and demonize the man. If he is correct about something I say so. I can find a dozen posts in the last week I argued from the left position, I bet you can't find one where you argued from the right.. I find what you do despicable and that comes through in my posts. For that I apologize to everyone else that has had to read my posts.... So please forgive me but I did not take the time to fact check your latest post and so did not post a direct rebuttal. I have no doubt that you did not either.

It was in response to "it only matters how Obama is handling it" ... it was posted that he's handling it well. What does that have to do with Romney?

Unfortunately, in politics, it's rare for one side to compliment the other. Especially in an election season. So it's refreshing when someone is able to say "yep, he's not "our" guy, but he's doing great"

And here comes the anticipated flip-flop on FEMA. Mitt loves FEMA. Took him 48 hours to figure it out. Is that the time a President has in a time of crisis? I think not.

“I believe that FEMA plays a key role in working with states and localities to prepare for and respond to natural disasters,” Romney said in a statement. “As president, I will ensure FEMA has the funding it needs to fulfill its mission, while directing maximum resources to the first responders who work tirelessly to help those in need, because states and localities are in the best position to get aid to the individuals and communities affected by natural disasters.”

If he actually would keep all this sudden new wisdom he is spouting he might someday get to where he would be a decent president. I have no illusions, though, about how long he will retain all these new enlightened policy positions. His 'base' is the 1 percenters and it is what will benefit him and his buddies that will be his governing philosophy. Anything he says now is just a means to an end. His campaign admitted as much when they originated that Etch-a-Sketch comparison during his extreme right phase during the primaries. After all, he is directing these statements to all us lowly peasants so it isn't really lying since we all don't really matter to people like him!
