a better question at this moment is how obama's handling it ;)

According to the GOP he is acing it!

Here is a link to The Wall St. Journal copy on GOP Governor Chris Christie. (You don't get much more republican than the WSJ....)

Mr. Christie, a longtime supporter of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, previously had been a critic of Mr. Obama's policies but has been effusive in his praise of the president's handling of Sandy in New Jersey. The state is facing widespread power outages and likely billions of dollars in losses along its popular coastline. The men met on the tarmac at Atlantic City's airport shortly after 1 p.m. and boarded a helicopter.

I don't get it. Obama does something good so he praises him. Why is that such a big deal. I thought that is what you are supposed to do. That does not mean he does not support romney or think Obama has done a piss poor job with the economy.

I praised Obama coming and going for having the balls to give the order to go after OSBL.. It does not make me a hypocrite that I do not think he has done well in other areas.

You libs are really grasping at straws.

It was in response to "it only matters how Obama is handling it" ... it was posted that he's handling it well. What does that have to do with Romney?

Unfortunately, in politics, it's rare for one side to compliment the other. Especially in an election season. So it's refreshing when someone is able to say "yep, he's not "our" guy, but he's doing great"

I don't get it.

The question was how is the POTUS handling FEMA in the aftermath of Sandy. My only comment was to post the testimony of the Governor of the State of New Jersey, who is a republican, as published by the WSJ, which is a very conservative publication owned by Murdoch, as in Fox's.

To be sure, I thought that might carry some gravitas.

Rebuttal? It is a full time job to fact check your cut-and-paste articles.. I treat you with ten times the respect you give to the people you work so hard on deamonizing every single day. I do not put up negative posts about Obama himself, I do not call him names, I do not try and demonize the man. If he is correct about something I say so. I can find a dozen posts in the last week I argued from the left position, I bet you can't find one where you argued from the right.. I find what you do despicable and that comes through in my posts. For that I apologize to everyone else that has had to read my posts.... So please forgive me but I did not take the time to fact check your latest post and so did not post a direct rebuttal. I have no doubt that you did not either.

I'm guessing this post will be gone soon.

lol.... no, you go around trying to be right about everything until someone challenges your position with substance and then you resort to backhanded insults. This is why I typically don't bother engaging posters such as yourself because it ends up just a troll game. I don't care if you can't seem to stick to an argument and openly admit when you're mistaken, but just keep that in mind the next time you feel compelled to dispel another person's argument for the sake of being right. It's quite obvious that you have no rebuttal to my last post that points out that it wasn't 'spin' that Romney mishandled his own state's disaster relief and prevention. Given that he has campaigned on his success as governor of Mass. it is relevant to look at how he handled such crisis, especially in context of Hurricane Sandy.
