Second Interview (japanese police certificate)

Hello List,

Thanks for all the help resolving the original interview issue. I'm the one whose fiance's original visa was denied at the interview because of two six month work visits to Japan that were combined to require the Japanese police certificate. We are now two weeks into the 2-3 month wait to get the certificate. My email and phone calls to the embassy unfortunately fell on deaf ears and there's nothing left to do but wait.

My question is this: Apparently, they held onto all of my Fiance's paperwork. When she schedules another interview (when the certificate is ready) what should she bring with her besides her passport? Should we refresh any of the forms. I don't think there are any that are due to expire, but how about the proof of relationship information, recent paystubs, etc.?

Also, has anyone received a Japanese police certificate recently from outside of Japan? How long did you have to wait? I very hopeful that it doesn't take as long as their websight indicates.

Thanks again for any input anyone can provide.

Sincerely,

Mark
