Hello all, I'm pretty new to here, and I was just curious how many if any of you have used lawyer's/Immigration services to help you put together your I-129f packet. If thats the case I'm curious do how many of you got RFE's? and did you feel you got it done faster than maybe if you hadn't used a service or lawyer?

Thanks for your time :) and good luck to all.

Since this is primarily a 'Do-It-Yourself' site, I would daresay that most of the folks here refrain from retaining the services of an immigration lawyer or legal service. There are those that have initially retained legal counsel and then have cancelled their services. If your immigration issues are complex or too involved for your comfort, you are advised to retain appropriate legal counsel.

YMMV,

Good luck on your visa journey.

It's a very straight-forward process unless you have a possible complicated case. I would save the money and spend it on something else.

Good luck on your journey!

Totally agree, if you have no complicated issues you can do it yourself and use the money for a beautiful weddingcool.gif

With the assistance of VJ Guides, it is not necessary. Every VJ member is here on this website so that they may do it without legal counsel. However, there are those who need to obtain a lawyer later in the process due to past legal issues.

Do it yourself. You can get your questions answered here on Visa Journey. A lawyer/immigration service will slow down the process and cost a lot of money.

Click on "Guides" at the top of the page and read the K-1 Guide.

The forms you'll need are on the USCIS website and are free.
