Hi just wanted to ask, our fiance visa has been approved,Im looking to buy one way ticket for my fiance, here in US. Does anybody here use orbitz, expedia or cheapoair.com, or any website that is cheap and no problem thanks..

08/23/2013- Pissed off.

03/14/2014- Recivied notice from USCIS. Reply due 04/16/14

04/12/2014- Reply mailed 300+ pages.

04/23/2014- Reply from USCIS they received the packet.

07/07/2014- Called my Congressman to check on progress.

07/08/2014- Got a call back from Congressman aid "USCIS is working on it".

07/09/2014- Got email from USCIS that my address change had gone through. I never requested an address change. Call Congressman and USCIS. Was an error an no address change...

07/10/2014- Received email from USCIS. We are approved again. I think the call to my Congressman helped.

08/04/2014- Application received from USCIS and forwarded to Kyiv.

08/19/2014- Interview Sept.19,2014

09/19/2014- Interview Approved.

You can try Kayak, it searches a ton of sites at once. Just be careful, I've seen a few of the partner sites change the price when you click through to their site but I've had a lot of success with the site in general.

Kayak is the best. I have never had any problems with them at all. I would use caution when using orbitz and sites like that. I purchased a flight through them once that was a great deal through spirit. However what I found out later was that they had booked two separate flights through spirit, and as you know you have to pay for all of your bags with spirit so when I got to the last leg of my flights I found out that I had to pay for bags again because it was two separate flights even though it was the same company.

Once you see the price on Kayak just go to that airlines website, that is what I do anyways.

the cheapest rite now is orbitz, has anyone bought ticket from them.

I buy on orbitz all the time especially for work. Never had an issue with them. In fact my last trip to the philippines back in late June/July on Philippine Airlines was purchased through Orbitz.

These are the sites i usually search and some how the first one seems to come up with cheaper tix ! Good luck :thumbs:

You might want to check out this site. http://santraphael.com/home.php. I have contacted them already concerning the same issue for my fiancee. If I understand it right there are one way tickets available at special rates for 1st time immigrants to the states. Look like around the $500.00 range for prices. You can contact them on YM which is what I did. Good luck

I've used Cheapoair.com a couple of times with no problems. I would also compare what these sites give you with the exact same flight on the airline's website. Sometimes, it is actually cheaper booking through the airline. Just be careful to read the terms. I know Philippine Airlines for example requires a photocopy of photo ID and credit card of purchaser if purchaser is not the present passenger for traveling.
