I know, it sucks to wait. I was a month behind everyone else when we filed and it also scared me. But it's meaningless. In your case, maybe they haven;t been able to schedule any new cases and it's still at May 23. Once it's over, you will forget and that will be that. At least you are together and have EAD/AP and can live normally. Good luck.

Can't agree more.

I was the first few people filed back in May and almost the last one got interviewed.

I was so desperate and thought this would never gonna be over and something would go wrong.

All of those negative thoughts are meaningless once I got my interview letter.

and I laughed at myself for being so impatient.

But I totally understand what is that like especially we have the same local office.

Trust me, no news is good news, at least they didn't deny you or ask for more paperwork.

Lol, it makes me feel creepy to look up a map of someone's town and see what's near it.

Ok, well if its LA, then its at 4 months. Which is approaching in a day or two. Talk about pushing it to the maximum amount of time.

Not that I hold up much hope for the next couple of days either!

Hey Dewave: Why don't you make yourself busy? Not trying to sound mean, although I admit this sort of sounded like I'm being mean. But my point is, that if you are busy, and doing stuff and not focusing on so much on this whole AOS application time will woosh by and you won't even realize how long you've been waiting. I know, this is easier said than done, especially if you are the beneficiary and have no job, and at home for most of the days. I guess in this sense, I am lucky, I'm going to school, so I have days I don't even think about that I have an AOS application pending, and I did not even realize how fast time flies until I've got the mail for the interview notice. I feel it went fast, no stress whatsoever. I sent the ####### in back in September, got my biometrics appointment within a week or two, did that real fast, got the EAD in a week, and then I just attended classes, doing shitloads of assignment, no RFE in the mail, so I did not even realize what step I am at, or what is going on and one day just getting home and finding the interview notice in the mail, and wow....three more weeks until the interview. I have not even started looking for the stuff I should take along, as I'm busy with my school so much and probably will do it like 3 days before the actual interview, that is basically how I prepared for the AOS package itself. Don't stress over this so much. If you know your marriage real, I believe then there's nothing to hide, nothing to worry about. Sure, I can easily get denied in about three weeks, but I believe USCIS people have seen so many people at both sides of the coin. Fake marriage based people, and good people. I believe they are like a doctor. A doctor hears your heartbeat and knows instantly if you have troubles, or not, and if you are in ###### or not. They can look at your face, the pale color of your skin, or unusual sweat on your forehead and know you might infection, or fever. I believe USCIS are the same way. They look at you at the interview, ask a couple questions and they know right away if you might be coming from a fake marriage, or if you are coming from a bona fide marriage. But maybe I'm too naive?! It could be...Now, all of you who are reading it who got their interview rejected please don't think I'm judging...I have no idea what was the reason those people got rejected, and even if they told me I might not have a clue how that considers to be indicative of fake marriage...but USCIS people might have an idea or two about it...

Well, in a nutshell...don't stress over it, don't think about so much otherwise it will drive you nuts. Just do everyday as if you were not doing any application procedure. Enjoy your life, clean the house (if you want :) ), go have dinner with your husband/wife, or to movies...pretend, you are not waiting for anything at all, just living your ordinary life. Hm? :)

In the background I'll cross my fingers for you though, okay? :o)
