I hope Obama wins, I can't stand Mitt Romney!

I'm sure you put a lot of thought in that post before taking the time to post it. I mean you just give too many details in that post to think anything otherwise.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

How about actually arguing a point beyond petty dismissiveness and back handed insults? Go ahead and explain why you think Nate Silver's election projections are baseless while embracing a single polling source out of hundreds is being

intellectually prudent?

When your initial response is a back handed insult expect the same in return. I quoted the first paragraph in the article.. Showed it was lying.. By the way you said the Rasmussen was the only one showing Romney with a electoral lead.. Actually the first poll to show Romney ahead was October 18th and was not Rasmussen.

Here is the second paragraph from your posted article:

But in recent days, the Romney-Ryan campaign has claimed that it's moving ahead. As Jonathan Chait noted [3], "This is a bluff. Romney is carefully attempting to project an atmosphere of momentum, in the hopes of winning positive media coverage and, thus, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy." Despite zero evidence that Romney has made any gains since receiving a healthy bounce from the first debate, reporters appear to be buying it, with a raft of lazy stories [4] about Mitt Romney's supposed "momentum."

the Romney-Ryan campaign has claimed that it's moving ahead. As Jonathan Chait noted [3], "This is a bluff" - This is a lie.. Many many poills show Romney moving ahead in the last week.

"Despite zero evidence that Romney has made any gains since receiving a healthy bounce from the first debate" - This is a lie.. Many many polls are showing gains this week. Try finding a pole showing Obama's momentum lately that isn't a statistical

When the ENTIRE PREMISE is false.. and it is FALSE.. the rest of the article means jack squat. Obama may win the election... You think he is going to run away with it (remembering you map) you are wrong. Your "want it to be true" is blocking your judgement.. Obama could lose 15 points in every state tomorrow and these articles will still be written by the faithful and be resuscitated here.

I'm being called to bed.. good night.

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

[(edited out quote violating TOS)

You speak the truth my dear.

They have their small agenda and loose sight of the big picture. I for one would like my kids to have a job after college. I don't see that happening with Obama.

Obama love poor people so much he is creating millions more. These Obama voters have to get their heads out of their Obamas.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'd much rather read the Environmental drivel from Steven in P&R. I can't wait until the election is over.

You probably want to seek professional help for that.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Nobody seems to be willing to put money on Romney - his odds of winning never reached 50% on intrade. He came close (45%) a few days back but has since dropped back into the mid to upper 30's. Obama, on the other hand, has never gone below a 50% chance of winning. He's currently sitting at 63% after being down to 55% a few days back. But I guess intrade is just another commie tool designed to hide the truth.

The left wing is seriously crapping their pants right now and will do ANYTHING (at this point threaten death as we've seen on social media sites) to discourage people from voting on the right side of the aisle.

it aint just the left. my boss offered a free case of beer if i vote for romney..he assumed i was voting for obama because "that's what poor people do"

i told him poor people who can't stand bibi won't vote for either..

p.s. my boss is an ####.

I have plenty of reasons why I want Obama to win, none of which I care to explain good.gif

Isn't it funny how the rest of the world thinks Romney is a nut job? I mean take a look at Romney's track record and all the things the man has flip flopped on.

If you stand back and look at this whole election from a nonpartisan view point it is easy to see that Obama will be and has been a much better president than Mitt Romney ever would/could.

Sure Obama is no peach but hes also no lemon like Romney and he has helped America in the last 4 years turn the economy around. Maybe next election we will get a better choice of candidates but for now Obama is the man for the job.

Agreed
