HELP PLEASE! WHAT DOCS DO I SEND WITH FORMS TO EMBASSY

Hi

I have completed all the forms required to send to the Embassy in London, which include: DS156, DS156K, DS157 and Part1 and notice of ready. Do I need to also send the documents referred to in the DS157 - IE: Birth Certificate, Proof of Engagement and Affidavit of Support???

Also which form is for Aff os Support, there are reference to two different ones.

Do you know which form my fiance needs to complete of the aff of support.

This is what the website says so I am totally confused:

Affidavit of Support: Form I-864, a contractual affidavit of support, must be submitted for most family-based applicants and employment-based applicants when a relative is the petitioner or has ownership interest in the petitioner's business.

Employment based visa applicants must show a recent letter from their employer confirming that the job offer upon which their application is based is still available to them. Qualified nurses must also present their Visa Screen Certificate. All other applicants must show evidence that they are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. Use of the form I-134 is an efficient way to provide this information to the Consular Officer.

What about the fiancé(e) of a U.S. citizen who is applying for a fiancé(e) visa?

An I-864 is not required when applying for a fiancé(e) visa. An I-864 will be required at the time the fiancé(e) visa holder applies to adjust his or her status from nonimmigrant to conditional resident with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services(USCIS).

What exactly is confusing you? The portion you bolded tells you the I-864 is not needed for the K-1. The petitioner would only need to supply you with the I-134 and supporting information. Again, this is all covered -- and much more -- in the pinned thread up top.

I'm providing you with answers, but if you need details, then the pinned thread has them. Specifically, the question you asked is on the first page, so unless there's something specific/unique that you need to know, you'll likely not get much response to your thread since most of what you're asking has been covered elsewhere. Either read the pinned thread or do a search.
