How did you guys ship your k-1 package?

I can use my company UPS system to ship my k-1.

I have put all the doc. In a 3 ring binder; now, my question is, do I put this binder in a big yellow envelope or a box or what? How did I guys ship yours?

I just want it to look professional and I don't want the USCIS to be like "what the heck is in the box," or the box is fine?

Please advice an thank you ;)

10/31/2012 - I-129F Sent
11/05/2012 - NOA1 (email/text)
11/08/2012 - NOA1 (paper)
05/10/2013 - NOA2 (paper) for some reason, they didn't text me this time.
05/17/2013 - NVC received package.
05/24/2013 - NVC Sent package to Ecuador embassy (I called and they told me that)
05/28/2013 - Received mail from NVC notifying they have send my package to Ecuador.
05/31/2013 - Ecuador Consulate mail package to my fiancée.(I've already scheduled the interview before this)
07/15/2013 - Visa approved!
11/30/2013 - POE (smooth process, she was done in 1 hr)
12/21/2013 - We got married!
12/24/2013 - Applied for SSN

03/27/2014 - Sent out AOS, EAD, and AP
04/03/2014 - Received NOA for all 3
04/08/2014 - Received appointment for Biometrics
04/30/2014 - Received RFE (need proof of income)
05/06/2014 - Did Biometrics appointment
05/07/2014 - Sent RFE
06/14/2014 - Received EAD/AP combo card
07/10/2014 - Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case

02/23/2015 - Opened a Case Inquiry "Outside Normal Processing Time"

03/09/2015 - USCIS responded with a letter, and pretty much said "keep waiting, we'll get to you"

03/24/2015 - "Card was ordered to be produced"

04/03/2015 - Greencard in hand!

12/13/2017 - Received "Notice of Removal of Conditional Basis of Lawful Permanent Residence" APPROVED!

I would not recommend a 3 ring binder (the IO will take your file apart and organize it as they wish), or staples use clips and a big one to hold it together. USPS is fine as long as your have a tracking number and or return receipt.

April 19, 2013 - Online status says interview date was scheduled and notice was mailed out
April 22, 2013 - NOA received for Interview

May 7, 2013 - EAD & AP was approved
May 23, 2013 - AOS Interview (APPROVED)

May 29, 2013 - Received welcome notice letter

June 1, 2013 - Received greencard

June 3, 2013 - Got driver's license using GC

June 10, 2013 - Received EAD & AP

And do I really need a return label as well?

After following the instructions on the USCIS website I placed my K1 packet in folder to protect my papers. When I took it to FedEx they shipped it off in a box. :yes:

I'm about to send mine in as well. Per the link, I just used a simple stapler to put together small things such as; western union email notifications of sent/ received. Then I used large paper clips for more bulky sections like all my boarding passes and copies of all pages of my passport. I'm then using a large binder clip for all the papers and will buy an envelope for the packet and then use a FedEx packet where I'll put in my packet.

OMG take everything out of the sleeves, and the binder. You will cause more work for the adjudicator and thus add more processing time to your case. They need to be able to organize it how they want it, and quickly. I only used paper clips to keep like items together, and I put all my paperwork inside a Priority Mail envelope at the post office and I mailed it the the Dallas Lockbox.

No Binders !!!

Paper clips and binder clips only.

Professional looking is useless.

USPS Priority in a USPS Tyvek large envelope. Period

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

No Binders !!!

Paper clips and binder clips only.

Professional looking is useless.

USPS Priority in a USPS Tyvek large envelope. Period

Thank guys, after further review, and determination I have decided to ditch the binder and go for the tick paper clip, I have come to the conclusion that is a lot faster and easier to review than a freaking binder with plastic sleeves.

You guys r the best!

as per the recommendations on the uscis site, i had mine organized with acco fasteners, then in a folder and finally a manila envelope. stuck the whole thing in a Priority Mail envelope and sent with delivery confirmation. i've attached a photo of the fasteners (and my dividers etc.)

Exactly the way pacienciayfe showed. Just try to make it organized yet easy for them to review it and you'll be fine. We sent ours exactly the way showed on the photo in a manila folder with a label saying "I-129F PETITION FOR (YOUR FIANCE'S NAME) :thumbs:

I'm not K1 But I organized my papers with paper clips and sent using USPS Express Overnight in the USPS Envelope.They received it the next day with signature. I had the confirmation paper with signature sent to my email. :thumbs:

your holes on top are the wrong width, they may reject it because they like to punch there own holes on top to there standard.

the tabs are very good though.
