Hope all of you in Sandy's path survived with minimal damage - I was one of the lucky ones that maintained power and had no flooding or trees down - but wow - New York is a disaster and transit system is a mess!

God delays but doesn't forget.

We're in Baltimore/DC area. Last night we lost power for about 5 minutes and that was about it. There was no serious damage in our town, both me and my husband enjoyed 2 extra days off.

Hope other VJ members are OK too.

We had power go out for 16 hours. We are back to normal now. However only the main roads are navigatable. All the minor roads have downed wires and trees. And the gas stations have run out of gas.
