Hello All,

I'm new here to this site. I had a question. I also received this letter in my email this morning. Does it mean all my documents are approved and i'm just waiting for an interview? How long will it take to get an interview date? it's been almost a year since i applied. I applied on March 8, 2013 for i130. The i130 was approved November 9th, 2013.

Dear Sir or Madam:

The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing
of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner
and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment
until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of
the interview. Additional documentation requirements if applicable can be referenced at
the following URL: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3742.html

That's a case complete email.

Now you will have to wait for an interview date. NVC assigns one towards the end of the month (last week of Feb) for interview dates in April.

  • 2013-10-24: Choice of Agent (DS 261) filled. (AOS, IV fee not available yet)
  • 2013-10-25: Email to pay AOS fee
  • 2013-10-28: AOS payment available and paid
  • 2013-10-30: AOS Shows as "Paid"
  • 2013-11-01: Mailed i864 docs
  • 2013-11-01: IV fee available and paid
  • 2013-11-01: AOS Docs received at NVC ( Based on USPS tracking )
  • 2013-11-04 IV Supporting Docs mailed ( IV payment still shows as IN PROCESS...but moneys already withdrawn from account)

Interview will be in April? Didn't you say they set the interview end of the month? I figured the interview would be in Mid March or so and she be here by April..

sorry not sure what those are. I've been approved for i130 on November 9th 2013, then i sent the affidavit of support along with other documents to NVC. They just sent that email last night ^^...

i've heard it takes 2-3 months to get an interview date.. is that true?
