When fillling out the form for PCC, they let you choose what type you want, just tick on PCC number 2 (số 2), then submit to officer at the Justice Dept.

You need to use the right form for each Justice Dept of each city, province. Just google it. Or can buy at their office.

Thanks. I think I will receive appointment letter this Friday. I observe on vietditru and see that NVC schedules for Vietnam in the begining and middle of the month. I guess you will have your date on this upcoming Friday too.

Thanks for the info!

Oh #######, I just got a new police certificate #1 to replace the soon-expired one which is already at NVC. Wonder if i'll have to get and present the #2 at the interview even though my #1 was accepted by NVC.

Does this mean if we haven't had an interview yet we have to submit #2 or it bases on the approval date of NOA 2? My NOA 2 was approved in August 16th and still haven't received interview date yet. Very worry and anxious :-(

According to their requirement, I think we have to submit #2. It affects on 11/1. So all have to follow, no matter what. Just play it safe.

I talked to my wife this morning and the lady that is helping her with the paperwork, said that my wife has to get the new form.

So, if anyone is waiting for their interview date, should get it now.

This is what I get from US Consulate

As soon as an appointment has been set, our office will send out notification by mail known as the Appointment Letter. The Appointment Letter will give clear instructions regarding required documents, including the Justice Record Check. We would advise that you wait until receiving the Appointment Letter from our office to prepare documents. Otherwise, if you want to obtain the Justice Record Check in advance, you may wish to apply for the Justice Record Check #2 instead.

If you have further inquiries, please DO NOT reply to this email but submit your inquiry to:

http://hochiminh.usconsulate.gov/contact/ivinquiries.html

We WILL NOT respond to any inquiry sent directly to this email address.

guys do we need to get this Police Certificate #2 for the interview since we turn in the Police Certificate #1 to the NVC already and accepted. Comments and answer pls.

If NVC has already accepted the old version you are fine.
