"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

1. It would require a LAW which means it would require government involvement. Once you open the door for government involvement, it never stops.

2. If either parent could demand an abortion, then either parent can demand there NOT be an abortion, or are you saying that a man can demand a woman to HAVE or not have an abortion?

Ridiculous concept on SO many levels. Think of a new one.

I never said I wanted it implemented for obvious reasons that you have pointed out. I just said that that's how I think it should be ideally.

Try again. Oh and try not to be so condescending about a passing opinion that I never even said I wanted implemented as a policy. Doesn't reflect well on you.

It should not be that way, ideally, for the same reasons. It does not look well on anyone that they want the government to pass a law making it a man's decision what a woman does with her body. If refuting that makes me look bad...I will just have to get over it, because that is preposterous.
