I don't know.........I think I remember being up late when Obama was voted in. That was 4 years ago, though.

I would think the numbers should be in the same day/night.

Not before the polls close in California, though you may "know" before then. Once a good number of returns from the midwest are in, it is pretty easy to predict. An "official" announcement and concession speech usually comes before midnight ET

If Obama loses it is all the proof needed of Republican Shenanigans - In that unlikely event we will spend the evening talking to voters in Ohio who swear they voted for Obama but the printed out ballot showed Romney.. What? No of course they didn't bring it up at the Pollster or when the deposited it for the hand count.. Need proof? Just count the hand ballots and it will show Romney with more votes... see!

Then we will interview the European Monitors sent from the UN about intimidation for all Democratic Voters and again interviews with voters that said they felt "intimidated" and decided not to vote.

Immediately following this will be a roundtable of experts deciphering what happened.. Are Americans just too racist to elect an African American twice? Suddenly all those graphs showing how things are actually better now will all now magically prove we are on the abyss.

I don't think so. I plan to be in bed by midnight knowing who the next President will be. We have no TV and Alla has clinicals that evening so I am meeting her after for dinner and billiards at a local pub and watch the returns. We may go over to Plattsburgh as it will probably be safer in public places there if Obama is losing. If we do it on this side of the lake, I may have to act pissed off even if Obama is getting his @ss kicked.
