NO doubt they were.... but we are not talking about coffee table relationships here we are talking about Parenting and what it means to rearing children.

Gay parents more likely to have gay kids? Perhaps more likely to have kids who will admit they're gay. But straight parents have gay children too. Shocking.

Nice try, so if I post stats from SanFran you will accept social science?

Or is it more important to just believe Homosexuals are just like everyone else?

I was responding to this:

Google is your friend.

Suicide Among Homosexuals

From a website which deals with suicide.

Lesbians are two times more likely to attempt suicide than straight women.

Attempts by gay and lesbian youth account for up to 30% of all completed suicides.

Gay teens are 3 times more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers.

Gay youth are 4 times more likely to make a suicide attempt requiring medical attention.

Gay men are six times more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers.

I wasn't arguing with the stats. However, people commit suicide for various reasons, and especially among gay youth/teens, a lot of the reasoning is lack of acceptance and being persecuted for their sexual orientation.

But the rates are just as high (some stats show higher) in areas where being gay is considered normal... even cool.

Why do those on here who scream most stridently about the ickiness of teh gheys post so many pictures of (presumed) homosexuals? I mean, I abhor cockroaches. They really gross me out! An abomination. I have to date posted no pictures of cockroaches... because they gross me out! I actively avoid them and pictures of them.

I do like Lisa Frank folders, cats and sparkly stuff, so I seek it out and post pics because they're totally squeeee!

It seems intuitive: avoid yucky, seek out the squeee, no?

It's no wonder those kids have such a high suicide rate.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Y'all seem to love that pic. Four appearances on one page! I was like that when I was 12 and had a crush on Simon Le Bon. I wanted to put his poster up everywhere!

Who fills that spot now for ya?
