Meanwhile back in the world where a man and a woman make a baby and call it a family.... hey you see those two guys sitting in the stands watching our little league game? That's my ol man and my mom dad. They like to take me out for ice cream after the game and then they go home and spend a few hours in the sack together.

Happens all the time in my community. People are not all that different once you get past the ick factor.

Did I just come here from planet Pluto? I don't think so. You and the rest of the bunch can call an apple an orange all day long but in the end it's still an apple. Try harder.

Get with the times. Pluto is not a planet anymore.

Save the kids are mean spiel. Kids aren't stupid as you think. They know that there is nothing normal about one guy pumping the dog ####### out of another man and then getting pumped by said man when it's his turn to play catcher.

When did I call them stupid? I said they were mean, not stupid.

You don't get to decide what's normal and what's not. Thankfully.

Children don't judge unless they're taught to judge.

My nieces (11, 8 and 4) could see two men kissing and not think any differently of it. Because they were taught that sometimes, men love each other and sometimes women love each other and sometimes men and women love each other. It's a fact of life.

Wait a minute, so you are saying, gays raising kids should not be compared (in raising stable kids) as Mom and dad raising their own kids?

It not a fair comparison?

It is a "less than ideal" model?

(sorry didn't mean to out you)

smh.

you want me to pm you those study guides?

He's got you there.

Thing is, I'll be quite honest that I cannot define what is normal apart from a standard, and the only standard that I have is the Triune God of the Bible. Without the presuppositions of Scriptural truths, it's impossible to reason about ethics and normalcy in a meaningful manner.

That's my philosophy. I don't see how to reason apart from presupposing it. I'm not going to debate this subject because I know neutrality is assumed here and I don't hold to neutrality.

But just so everyone's clear, I don't hate homosexuals. I just completely disagree with their lifestyle based upon my presuppositions about God.

Bring on the flak. lol

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

#######..

Any guy who thinks something is wrong with that pic needs to move to California or NYC if he doesn't live there already.

i was unaware you were only asking 'guys'

i'm a girl. so i'll stay here in godforsaken ol' virginie..

I can't figure out if it's a man, woman, and their two children ... or a man and three children. Or a man and three women.

the thumbs up from the guy, its got to be three of the female persuasion but i can't quite make out if they're children or teenagers.. :o

Look at the smile on the guys face in that pic. There's those smiles where the guy is happy to have his family around him but that's not that kind of smile. If you look close it's one of those... ; "ya baby!" kind of smiles. That and he's giving the "thumbs up" with this right hand.

I thought we were talking about families and "normal" ... weird picture to post. But hey, your point is flawed anyway, so might as well have fun with it.

I threw that pic in there just to check to see who was and who wasn't paying attention.
