It finally all came clear last night on Jay Leno, in response to Donald Trump's proposal yesterday.

11:24AM EDT October 25. 2012 - President Obama got back at Donald Trump by mocking him -- and himself -- over citizenship claims.

"This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya," Obama joked to The Tonight Show's Jay Leno on Wednesday.

"We had constant run-ins on the soccer field." Obama added to laughter. "He wasn't very good and resented it. ... When we finally moved to America, I thought it would be over."

On a more serious note, Obama said he has never, in fact, met Trump.

Obama's riposte came as Trump offered to give $5 million to a charity of the president's choice, if he releases all his college and passport applications and records.

Trump continues to question whether Obama was born in the USA, despite a release in 2010 showing that Obama was born in Honolulu in 1961.

"If he releases these records, it will end the question and indeed the anger of many Americans," Trump says.

There you go, birthers! Finally, after years of mocking, you receive your validation.

On a positive note, the birthers have a limited sense of humor, so it is expected that they will find a word, a pause or even a syllable in the interview which will sound suspicious and will just be one more conclusive piece of irrefutable proof of Obama's Kenyanicity!

I could swear he said that about the long form birth certificate. Moving the goalposts is a well recognized logical fallacy. There is no reason for Obama to respond to this for the simple reason that it will continue until they ask for his preschool vacination records and to see the contents of his garbage can. And then on to infinity.

Trump is a joke, as is this whole situation. I have to give credit to Obama for treating it as such.
