I was just down visiting hubby last week and he decided to make an Infopass appointment to see if we could find out anything. He’d already had an uninformative Infopass appointment just after Christmas. The Officer who is adjudicating our case was not in on either day. The guy at the window could not tell us how long it would take to adjudicate our cases - it depends on the Officer. He could not tell us whether or not the Officer would accept the copy of my BC - it was up to the Officer what evidence to ask for and if they wanted the original they would send us another letter. So basically we came away knowing nothing. But hubby did receive an e-mail requesting that he fill out a survey on our satisfaction with USCIS and the Infopass appointment.

Hubby decided to call the USCIS info line from the car since it had been 60 days since he had talked to them. The guy who answered the call (not a supervisor) attempted to put in a service request on our file as it had been 8 weeks since we had responded to the NOID and that makes it outside of the processing time for the NOID. The system wouldn’t let him because we have a Vermont (EAC) number and they are processing late May right now so he couldn’t do anything for another 112 days.

So the wait continues...
