Hi guys, first, thank all of you for all the help while preparing the I-130, it was simple and straight forward with all of your support. I sent the form in on wednesday (10/17) with priority mail, and i recieved an email notification i had been approved and my case was beign forwarded. So far so good. Now, i do have a few worries. My wife is still in Mexico but from time to time she does get a traveling permit to visit me or her family in the U.S. as she currently has a visitor Visa. Is this ok? Will these traveling permits have any effect on our process? Im hoping she doesnt have to stop visiting me while the process is completed, after all she isnt living with me, just visiting as her permit/visa currently grants. Any chance these visits might be brought up in the final interview? Thank you for any feedback, it is very much appreciate it.

I forgot to add, in the guides, it says the file should be forwarded to the NVC and instead my email says: Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Is this ok? Should i worry? Whats the difference? Thanks.

USCIS first and then NVC, as long as she has a valid visa it should be ok, if you filed and then tried to get a visit visa, it could be hard for her to visit, but no effect on the I-130, as long as she hasn't overstayed or anything you are fine

Thanks alot for the Reply. Yeap she has had a visitor visa for a like 15 years now, she renewed that visa just 2 years ago.Weve been in a relationship for about 8 years now. She got her traveling permit i believe about a day before my application was accepted so hopefully that doesnt raise any questions, it wasnt intentional, she is visiting some family members and on her way back staying a few days with me :). They didnt ask her anything at the port of entry where she got the Visa, i let her know if any officer asks, to disclose all information as that is very important. They just asked her for proof of her school and that was about it. Traveling permit is for a full 6 months, but she is going to be in Mexico after she returns from her trip. I did a quick search on the NBC, and i got it now, its because of the backlog. Thanks for any other info!
