What is IR-1/CR-1?

Hi,

I'm just trying to figure out what category my situation fits into. I know its not K-1 or K-3, so i guess IR/CR is correct?

My wife came into the US with a tourist visa, we got married and filed the I-130, & I-485 (concurrently we also filed the I-765 for work authorization, and the I-131 for advance parole).

CR-1 and IR-1 are classifications for spouses of US citizens who arrived in the US on legal immigrant visas. You came on a tourist visa so you are currently a B-2 trying to adjust to CR-6.

I adjusted from being a tourist too, and one of my main gripes with the timelines feature here is that I can't accurately represnet the process I went through.
