Visa Processing Times

I know there is no set times for this but can anybody give me a ballpark? My fiancee got approved for her interview and was waiting on some documents from Singapore ( which were late because of the slow mail turnover time ). I called them personally and they said they received it and the visa was approved and is processing. This was last week, the lady told me that the processing can take anywhere form 1 - 3 business days and that the mailing of the visa can take 2 - 10 days. We did not choose mailing ( we chose pickup ) and the embassy is still saying the visa is "Processing".

Any help with this would be appreciated, I dont want to sit around and wait and let them forget about the documents and then they get lost like others have had happen. Any advice or suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.

It has been almost a month now. My fiance got her interview on the 19th of OCT, she was finally approved ( because they got our singapore paperwork ) on the 31st of Oct. It is now 13NOV and she does not have her visa being sent to the 2go office yet. Please, is there anything anybody can suggest? Everytime I call they simply tell me to wait another week and they will send it to be printed. This has gone on for two weeks now. other people in her group have had theirs printed, they are in the US and married now. I have asked and they said the office has already approved her and they are just "processing" for printing. I have talked to many people who have been through the process who are at my work and they tell me this is odd. What can I do?

Well it really hasn't been a month, as nothing was "approved" until they got all the required paperwork. Which you say they received the 31st of Oct, 221g requests always cause more delays before the visa is issued, figure a week for them to mate the singapore paperwork with your file, then it has its final review, then it gets sent to have the visa printed and affixed. Plus there was a holiday in there so you are not even at two weeks yet.

You can check online with the embassy website also, its the same source they use when you call. It can take a month at times for the passport to be delivered. My wife's passport took weeks.

That is interesting considering that we have expiration date for processing that is on the 26DEC2012. If it took another month for this... that would put us dangerously close...
