So I filed my I -130 at the end of August. I sent it to the Texas Service Center. A few weeks later, I get a message that it is transferred to the California service center because for some reason. Now, I just got a letter from California saying they transferred it to Missouri. #######?

I called the hotline and it says not to bother enquiring for 180 days. Might they just transfer it to someone else?

Help!

You mailed to Texas in error. Depending on where you live, you should have mailed to Chicago or Phoenix and should have expected a transfer to California or Vermont. Recently, many cases are transferred to Missouri as a workload distribution measure. It's nothing to worry about. Worry about carefully reading current instructions. Now is the time to become an expert on the rest of the process. Start here. http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/National_Visa_Center

OK thanks. I was worried about Missouri because they don't seem to do I-130's, but I guess you are saying now that they do. Thanks!

They do now. Texas hasn't for MANY years. You've got to carefully study all current form instructions.
