People Upgrading/Upgraded From PR to USC

Hi,

Im looking for people who have gone through a I130 category upgrade due to becoming a USC after sending out the application as a PR.

I am actually on hold for a level 2 on USCIS cust service number.

Did the upgrade cause a reset in the PD and generate waiting the processing time after the upgrade or was the original priority date + processing time apply.

I sent my I130 in June, but upgraded in Aug, should I expect approval June + 5-6 Months, or Aug + 5-6 months? How has your experience been?

I will update with the response from Level 2 support once I get it.

Got off the phone with officer, he offered to open a service request with VSC to get an "exact status" check on my application and that I would hear back within 2 weeks.

He also said to expect approval/RFE/Denial in 60 days or less. Meaning the original PD date is still valid after upgrading. Goes to show you can't trust that level 1 service reps are giving accurate information.

Once your petitioner emails the naturalization certificate it is upgraded within 60 days. See my signature.
