DS-230

I'm currently completing the required forms so i can be ready for when the time comes, there is section on the DS-230 which asks for spousal information it then asks for fathers family name and mothers family name, is this the names of the non existant spouses parents of will it be my parents ?

Also it's looking rather worrying about the amount of N/A i have on the forms, i guess these questions are there to cover a lot of information so it would be expected that there is a lot that are not applicable ?

once again, sorry for the probably dumb questions.

thanks in advance

DS-230 is to be completed by the beneficiary, so it would be their parents. You only need to complete Part I of that form.

Although they're located directly under the questions pertaining to the non-existent (for a K-1 applicant) spouse, the questions about parents (numbers 19–28 on the current version of the DS-230) pertain to the visa applicant (beneficiary, not petitioner). From your post it sounds like you're the beneficiary/visa applicant, so you'd fill in your parents' info here, not your fiancee's.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

As for the degree/diploma questions, my wife/then-fiancee listed the type of degree/diploma she earned—Master of Political Science, Bachelor of Public Administration, High School Diploma, etc.

Yes, any places you lived for more than six months. We attached a sheet to list everything and included the university stays. And yes for the degree/diploma info to include as well.

I'm actually the beneficiary, the fiance ovewr in florida is the petitioner, i'm just doing all of the paper work myself and having her input where it is needed. So part one is to be completed by me (the beneficiary) and part 2 is to be completed by the petitioner ? sorry if i'm just going in circles here, i just want to clarify i know what i'm doing haha

You only need to complete Part I. Part II is not needed.

Please be sure to read through the UK regional forum. There's a great pinned thread for K-1s on the post-NOA2 to interview process that covers all that's needed and answers a lot of the basic and not-so-basic questions for those going through London.

Throw away Part 2. Bin it. Never needed by you the beneficiary or your fiancé in Florida. You've been answered in the UK forum also.
