Hi,

My fiancee and I were planning on having our wedding in Walt Disney World on October 7th, 2013. We planned on filing for the I-129 in November, do you think we will get the visa approved on time? Also, if we file in november, will it be safe for him to come over in early December to stay a month with me? We have everything together, all the documents needed etc, and we've looked at the processing times but I just wanted to get someone else's opinion. P.S. He's from the UK so he will be interviewed in either London or Belfast. Any info on this is appreciated! Thanks!

Also, do you think I will have any trouble since will be 17 when filing? My parents have both agreed to my marriage and will provide statements.

I would send it now if I were you, the K1 visa has validity for 6 months from the date of the medical (not from when it's issued).

As for your age, I cannot answer you..as I don't know.

He will be able to visit you, but make sure he has a return flight ticket, and some proof of ties back to the UK (rent agreement, letter from employer he's on annual leave and when he's expected to be back, if he's a student he can ask to get a letter stating he's a full time student, etc the more the better) altho he might not be asked to show them.

We planned on filing for the I-129 in November,

As I just posted in your other thread, you want to file the I-129F, not the I-129. The I-129 is for employment visas.

He's from the UK so he will be interviewed in either London or Belfast. Any info on this is appreciated! Thanks!

K1 visa interviews only occur at the Embassy in London.
