My girl spent 3 months with me in New York, does she list this as a residence in G-325A?

So, she came here on Temporary Visitor Status and stayed from May 17-August 14. She said she was coming for sightseeing when asked at the airport. It was only after she left that we decided to try fora K-1 Visa. Do I list where she stayed (my home address) on the G-325A?

no, she is here on a visitor visa, so her residence address is still her home country address, not yor address. Remember, she is just visiting you.

Okay, quick question if you don't mind then, in 2010 I went to Japan on Temporary Visitor Status. I stayed in the same apartment nearly 3 months. Then I went to Thailand for 2 weeks. Then I came back to the same apartment in Japan again for nearly another 3 months. Do I not list this on my own G325A because technically I was still a resident in NY who just happened to be on temporary visitor status?

It feels weird not listing that on her G325-A considering she was in my home for nearly 3 months every single day.

While you were travelling were you changing your mailing address for banks or other things every time you travelled or did you maintain one mailing address in NY?

I don’t remember it correct but check for the G-325 instruction I think it says you have to stay in the location for more than a year, if it is less than you do not need to mention it.

So...........I just called USCIS and asked my question to a lady there and she said "It is at your discretion" what you put there. She was so by the book about it to that it was scary. Is this what you people have to deal with when calling USCIS. She asked if my fiancee maintained a permanent address outside of the USA at the time while she was visiting me. And then she told me she couldn't indicate what I should put and that if I wanted to I could seek an attorney.

I know this is not a big issue AT ALL, but its just crazy the "non-answer" that I received on the phone. I'm just going to ask my fiancee and see what she thinks about it. I may end up just not listing it, but I was worried because then of course it will come up on other paperwork that she was indeed here for 3 months.

Sorry to have so many posts in my own thread, but a few things.

*My girl was in Philadelphia for 5 months, but she was here on a student visa, not vacationing, so that def. gets listed, right?

*Also, so even if I was on a work visa, spent 9 months at one home, then took a 1 week vacation out of the country, then returned back to that original home for 4 month, would I not mention it even though I technically lived there over a year (just not a straight year)?
