Why are all the political nutcases so fascinated with applying labels to everyone?

Anyone who adheres to a "left" or "right" tag and formulates their political outlook around that tag is part of the American political impasse. Those who are able to look at an issue objectively, regardless of which side of the aisle supports their PoV, are the ones you should be looking for.

Me? I'll go with whoever has the best chocolate.

What .. Your pro-Union. I am shattered :) .

I am not anti-union. I have worked with union tradesmen for most of my life, still do. I beleiev unions should be VOLUNTARY. Other than that I have nothing against them. They are corporations offering a product (collective bargaining) to their customers/members. Why not make them competitive. Works for Credit Unions, private Golf Clubs and Costco, why not labor unions?

The Only reason it should be against TOS to list members one way or the other is that whoever tries it, gets it wrong.

InKoria, James & Olya and Brother Hezekial to the LWN side of that list.

James is a very intelligent man whom I respect. He is also a very devoted family man and I will cut someone a ton of slack just for that, because at the end of the day he cares about someone other than himself. Plus he is an unabashed admirer of beautiful RUB women and for that he gets an extra 3 points. :P I would not call him an LWN as he is certainly not an "N". I can disagree with him with reason on some issues. I agree with him on many issues. His opinion is worthy of consideration as a thoughtful expression of views. Not like the kool aid swallowers. You see VERY few LWNs married to RUB women. I do not think that is a coincidence

Brother...oh brother...says things like "If you elect Romeny and have sex you are just going to get pregnant" See, James knows that of all the things Obama IS, birth control is not one of them.

Yeah and I forgot to mention that I am against the war on drugs, against prayer in school, think any kind of Religion is a bigger fairy tale than Global Warming. I already said I am pro choice (on everything) and Pro Gay Rights.

James is as far left as it gets. Read his post and it says it all. That list isn't to be taken into the literal sense of RWN and LWN, it's more like if a line was drawn in the sand who would be on what side of the line. You being pro gun and pro hot RUB chicks automatically puts you on the right side of that line. That and your not pro illegal immigration.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

4 pages and my name has not been invoked?

SADNESS

He knew he wouldn't have to.

I am voting Libertarian, I think.

Good for you. I have since 1988. Reagan was the last Republican I voted for. (So much for being an RWN)

If Gov. Moonbeam's tax proposal fails I see the potential for some great California threads on here in the near future seeing how the party will be all but over for Gov. Moonbeam and the state of California as we know it. B-)

James is not anti-gun that I have seen. He may not be "pro gun" but I do not think it is a huge issue for him. My guess is there is a shotgun behind the kitchen door at his house, maybe a .22 rifle. James id definitely pro HOT RUB chicks, he joins right in with us in the RUB forum and is usually pretty effective. He stepped on "Mox" like a worm and ran right him back in that hole he lives in last time he poked his slimy head out.

James is an intelligent man, not that I agree with him on everything, I sure do not, but I find he is reasonable or at least "reasoned".

I also know from personal exchanges with James that his family is very important to him and that is a very important thing to me in my take on people. I think he and I agree on some pretty important stuff and disagree on some rather unimportant stuff. Call it a "weighted" formula, sort of like "tests" being more valuable than "quizes" in the final grade.

There are a few poeple at this site that I put way up there on the list and their politics have nothing to do with it, they are the ones that went the extra mile for someone other than themselves.

I don't know. He's all for Obama and he couldn't hang George Zimmerman quick enough. Maybe he's further right though then I give him credit for.

It will fail. It is cover for the Democrats, who can't pass a budget. The California Governor is more, or less, a figurehead. The Speaker of the Assembly has all the real power, and John A. Pérez is fat slob, and a total puppet. So, nothing gets done.

I can live with completely voluntary. I was a supervisor in a Union shop. Somehow the Poop rose to the top and the cream stopped caring and did mediocre work like everyone, less they be accused of being a company man. Probably deserves it's own thread so never mind
