I want to cry :crying:.

My employers say we cant go home until 4:00pm and I have a 1.5-2 hour drive ahead of me! I should have turned and gone back home when it started to rain this morning while I was on my way to work. I am too damn loyal. I keep hearing bulletins on the radio where other companies are sending home staff from 1 and 2 o'clock.

I should pick up my passport by Friday. Don't want to burn my bridges or else I would just get up and to go home!

Why not stay with a friend or co-worker who lives closer to the job until the wind and rain has dimission. Life is more important.

The full force isn't expected unil omorrow mid-day, so this is just a strong rain storm right now.

Ehanks for the prayers, some rural areas will have landslides and breakaways, if you live in a no flooding area things are not that bad, its afre noon and there are no mighty winds just the steady rains and some people with no water coming from the tap, however many had stored water, the supermarkts made money and honestly if you work in an essential services job, and dont reside in a flood area a person can still easily go to work avoiding gully areas and large pool of water, of course many who build on free gully bank land are being housed in schools . hopefully they will leave it clean and not vandalize, overall it could be worst I have heard no life taken yet on the news hope there will be none ....thanks again people, its just announced its a Category one hurricane. Bridge wall in Kintyre just broke away

* Will head towards Cuba, Haiti, Bahamas & Florida areas
