no interview scheduled yet???.. Please help.

good morning everyone..

my fiancé’ have been waiting for the embassy in Egypt to schedule an interview since august for our K1 visa. I have been sending them weekly emails asking them if they have scheduled us yet. Today I got an email saying that November is also full. by the end of November it will be over 4 months since our papers have arrived to the embassy. What should I do. What are my options? I plan on going to Egypt in the end of December, will it make a difference if I schedule an interview as an American citizen while in Egypt and try to speed it up. would I be able to? According to the other timelines in Visa Journey. It takes an average of 58 days from the time packet 3 is received to the interview date ( yeah I actually sat down and averaged all the 2012 K1 waiting times) . We will be at double that by the end of November and no interview even scheduled yet.. who can I talk to about this.. emailing the embassy doesn’t get my anywhere.. it’s the same reply I’ve been getting the last 3 months. .. PLEASE HELP

5 months to just schedule the interview.. they already have all the paperwork and everything. it takes 5 months from the time they receive packet 3 till they send packet 4???????

Looking at the Holiday schedule for the Cairo Embassy and excluding Friday & Saturday's. As I looked at the interview schedule I didn't see any Saturday interviews I thought they used to have Saturday interviews This leaves interview days at 18 days in November and 21 days in the month of December. If the trend continues as it is, this will put many interviewing in 2013. Good Luck to you

Less than a year ago it was 6 months for fiances. Over a year ago it was less than 2 months.

Noooooooooooooo Oh what are they doing we are in the same position and we are waiting like almost 2 months!!! What are we to do how do we live like this I want to go see my fiance but how can I plan for anything like this???Can we do anything really are we just stuck??? Are there any others like us or has anyone done k-1 and is in this situation or K-1 and they got an interview after sending pack 3 recently ???? Good luck 2 u I know exactly how you feel I email and get the same response, or that they will notify me when they schedule it like stop calling and emailing. I dont know what to say at this point. Nothing you can do but wait. Hopwfully you will get dec too. Cairo takea turns making spouses wait then fiances wait.

yeah according to the last email i got. if we didnt get packet 4 as of yet. then november is out of the question. its "full". If you count the K1 visa interviews they do a month its around 20 only.. and if they're closed half of November that means like 10 K1 interviews in november. Its very frustrating. I swear if they even tell me my interview in january but give me an exact date I'd be a happy camper and i'll be able to plan around it.. it just sucks waiting till the end of the month then hearing its not gonna be the next month either.
