Wait a minute...... where were all these voices when Mr. Foreign Policy himself (Joe Biden)

Claimed in his debate that the reason we are not involved in Syria is because it is 5 times as big as Libya.

Biden is on Team Obama because he gave some foreign policy experience to the ticket.

Hate to break it to you guys but Most of these Politicians have a cursory knowledge of the middle East and when sumptin comes up they get advisors in there THEN study the map and make a decision.

Maybe Iran can see Alaska from Syria?

Of the top 10 most mis quoted things Libtards repeat and say is the I can see Russia from my yard comment. That was Tina Fey that said that. What Palin really said was that Russia was aa Neighbor and that you could see parts of russia from an Island in Alaska, which is very true. However far be it from facts to interfere with a good ** froth mouth character assassination.

10. "I can see Russia from my house!" – Sarah Palin

It was actually comedian Tina Fey, who was impersonating Ms. Palin on Saturday Night Live, who uttered the line that is now widely attributed to the former Alaska governor.

The basis for this line comes from a September 2008 interview with ABC News's Charles Gibson, who asked Palin what insights she had from her state being so close to Russia. She responded: "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."

This is true. As Slate has pointed out, on a clear day, those on the Alaskan island of Little Diomede can see the Russian island of Big Diomede, located across the International Date Line some two and a half miles away. Given that Big Diomede has no permanent population, the amount of foreign policy experience one can gain from staring at it is debatable. But you can see Russian soil while standing in Alaska.

I hate to break your Reptard bubble but that comment was so over-the-top ridiculous that Palin used to pretend to any foreign policy expertise that it more than justified Tina Fey's distillation of its absurdity into her oft-quoted line! Willard seems equally clueless but what makes him more dangerous is his extreme propensity for political shape-shifting! Etch-a-Sketch Mitt!

rofl.gif ...and that was the zinger. You seem to get tripped up on context. Tina Fey brilliantly regurgitated Palin's asinine reply to Gibson's question on her foreign policy experience as literal interpretation ('next door neighbors'). RWN's such as Palin, habitually go after their liberal counterparts, by taking what they say out of context. That's why political satire is so needed in this country because it brilliantly exposes the absurdity of political nonsense of those who try to pretend to know what they are talking about.

Even if Romney means the Mediterranean Sea. Iran has 2 options to get there.

Option 1. Hoist their ships up on their shoulders and carry them either across Turkey which is a NATO country or Iraq which has a few American troops in it. If they survive that they carry on across war torn Syria to the Med and freedom!

Option 2. They launch a ship from anywhere on their 1500 mile coastline into the Arabian Sea. Sail round Saudi Arabia and through the Suez Canal into the Med.

I know what one I'd choose but these Middle Eastern dictators can sometimes do crazy things.
